Andrea Taman

Andrea is an experienced Senior Manager with a successful career working with community and not for profit organisations across Australia in areas of strategic planning, policy, legislation and stakeholder relationship management. She is also a highly competent organisational manager with a recognised reputation for key general management functions including change management, organisational development, finance and human resources management and customer focused delivery.

Her previous roles include a number of senior leadership positions across Australia, including Senior Manager, Grants and Community Development Lotterywest, Project Manager Department of Industry and Resources (WA), Director Regional Arts Australia, General Manager Country Arts WA, Executive Officer Community Arts Network WA, Chairperson WA Arts Industry Council as well as a number of years in senior arts management and leadership roles both nationally and at a state level in WA, SA and Tasmania.

Andrea has a strong interest and experience in partnering with regional and remote communities to provide long term sustainable community outcomes and currently holds the position of Senior Manager Estates and Trusts with Australian Unity Trustees, where she oversees the management of Charitable and Native Title Trusts, including capacity building strategies with Community Trustees in areas of governance, financial literacy, representation and informed decision making.
