A new short film staring and devised by ‘stArts with D’ Performance Ensemble members Tiffany Malthouse, Martin Armstead & Brandon Williams, has been selected for showing at the Arts Activated conference in Sydney, October 2014.
This talented and creative group were supported by guest Director Kat Worth, Assistant Director & Performance Facilitator Miriam Pickard, Film Mentor Matt Woodham & Project Coordinator Philomena Hali.
Inspired and driven by Tiffany, Brandon and Martin’s unique personal stories, the film explores the little things in life that matter and make a difference. The small details that get overlooked and add beauty, meaning and structure to life.
Film Mentor Matt Woodham said of the project “Spending time to focus on and explore ideas with individual artists was very valuable during the shoot, and being able to show the results of these ideas on camera soon afterwards provided context and perspective.”
The finished film will showcase these talented NT emerging artists with disability and be released for further public viewing opportunities in the coming months, so keep an eye on our website!
