Corrugated Iron Youth Arts is the premier youth arts organisation in the Top End of the Northern Territory. For more than 30 years, they have provided innovative and challenging performing arts experiences that express the diversity of young people living in the Northern Territory.
In 2016 members of the Crew travelled to Alice Springs and took on backstage roles for ‘Unbroken Land’. This year they’re back and taking on a key performance role as our travelling ‘chorus’, as well as helping out backstage.
The Crew are tremendously excited to be part of Unbroken Land 2018. Jane Tonkin, Executive Producer, Corrugated Iron Youth Arts says.. “Our experience on the 2016 production was so positive and this year we move from backstage to on stage! Our young performers are excited about working in a different environment with artists and groups new to them, and of course, performing for an unfamiliar audience in a stunning venue. It is a wonderful adventure that supports Corrugated Iron’s interest in linking young artists with opportunities that extend their experience and inspire creative pathways.”
